It’s officially been a year since I joined Rivr, and to say it’s been life-changing is an understatement. I’ve learned so much in product, development, and ML, and I absolutely love the challenges that come with it. This past year has also been a huge period of personal growth. I’ve realized how much I need to be constantly challenged and learning to feel fulfilled. In my last year of full-time streaming, I struggled with burnout in ways I didn’t fully understand until I was able to step away guilt-free (which isn’t possible unless you have a stable, alternate income). I needed a big life shift to pull myself out of that hole, to reignite my passion and drive. My relationship with content creation is healthier now—less draining, less toxic. At Rivr, we’re building something truly innovative for creators, and it’s exciting to be making a real impact on the industry. We’re reshaping how brands and creators collaborate in ways that have never been done before. In a few weeks, I’ll be making another big change—moving from Texas to Montreal to work in person with our incredibly talented team. I can’t wait to help supercharge our trajectory and take things to the next level. ICYMI! On January 22nd and 23rd, CAPS hosted the annual Career Fair for the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science!
