🎉8 80 Cities is excited to announce a new three-year partnership with Ophea, Brock University and Novo Nordisk to launch Growing Healthy Places: Mississauga ‒ a project that will support the health and well-being of school-aged children, by developing a package of evidence-based community-led initiatives aimed at increasing access to nutritious food and safe places to be physically active. Access to nutritious foods and opportunities for physical activity play an integral role in a child’s development and reduce the risks of developing health issues into adulthood. Growing Healthy Places: Mississauga will engage communities in the co-design of neighbourhood-based solutions to improve quality of life and healthy living for every child, no matter where they live.📍 8 80 is proud to be part of this essential work furthering our vision: to create healthy, happy and sustainable cities for people to grow up and grow old in. Thank you to our amazing partners for this opportunity.✨ Learn more about this exciting new project: https://ow.ly/WUx850VlFYp #HealthyChildren #DrivingChange #FoodEquity #Mississauga
