[#Group] The #BlueBird consortium has held its Kick-off Meeting in Barcelona, Spain. Inetum was represented by Maria Perez Ortega, Eduardo Vendrell del Río, PMP, and Adrián Carrasco Revilla. The BlueBird project aims to improve energy efficiency and user engagement in buildings by integrating them with energy carrier networks and empowering end-users and building managers. The project will use innovative business models and trading tools to optimize comfort and reduce costs. It will also analyze the impact of control, predictability and personalized settings on energy savings and user empowerment. The project will demonstrate these concepts in various settings, with the goal of inspiring widespread adoption (7 pilot sites). Real-world impact through amazing pilot sites: ➡️ Ultra-efficient homes by KARNO ➡️ Next-gen offices with WeSmart and Enea Operator ➡️ Pioneering energy communities via WeSmart ➡️ Public buildings transformation with the Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona (AMB) and Barcelona Energia - Operador Elèctric Metropolità ➡️ Sports facility innovation in the AMB ➡️ Smart water treatment energiekompass.be | GmbH and load management solutions at Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center / Poznańskie Centrum Superkomputerowo-Sieciowe (PCSS) ➡️ Tourism sector leadership with Elektrizitätswerk Hindelang eG #Inetum will develop the forecasting services needed for modeling and optimizing buildings' energy management, implementing the Flexibility Trade-off services, as well as developing the graphical user interface (GUI) for the BlueBird support platform. ⏹️ The BlueBird promise: Making energy flexibility your everyday superpower!
