2050 is 25 years away, and whilst that may seem like a long way to go, planning for the future starts today. More businesses are recognising the need to accelerate the transition towards global net zero emissions. That's why they've signed the pledge. As a director of a corporate events agency deeply committed to sustainability, I am dismayed by this article. In the events industry, we are constantly working to balance commercial goals with environmental responsibility and social impact. A key consideration as part of that balancing act is brand reputation and the ‘optics’ of decisions we, along with our clients, make on every aspect of the event.
