Last week, we submitted our response to the European Commission's call for Evidence for an evaluation of ''EU rules on medical devices and in vitro diagnostics.'' Lack of streamlined interaction between CTR and MDR/IVDR with lot of regulatory burden on sponsors is severely impacting patients. EuropaBio - the European Association for Bioindustries calls for a harmonised framework leading to a more predictable environment for sponsors. By reducing over-complexity and inconsistency also through the review of the CTR and the coming #EUBiotechAct, the EU can boost competitiveness and ensure faster access to new treatments to patients. 🔗 Read the full consultation below or at: https://lnkd.in/eqjdnC7A
