    🔋⚡We are pleased to announce the successful electrification of our calcium silicate plant Skamol Branden, Denmark. This project marks a significant milestone in our journey towards sustainability and innovation. By replacing traditional gas systems with cutting-edge electrified heat pumps, we significantly reduce the carbon footprint associated with our manufacturing process. This initiative solidifies our position as an industry leader in sustainable production. Through substantial electrification of the plant’s production process, we are reducing energy consumption and emissions. As a result, the Skamol Branden plant will reduce its CO2 footprint by 43%, saving 6,800 tonnes of CO2 annually. The calcium silicate plant at Skamol Branden, Denmark, became part of Etex's Industry division when Skamol was acquired in May 2023.     We’re proud to announce the development of RECYPLAC™, a groundbreaking innovation from Siniat France, the first standard plasterboard made from 100% recycled gypsum. By using almost entirely circular materials for its other constituents, it delivers the same high performance as standard plasterboard while significantly reducing waste and the need for virgin raw materials: ✅ 100% recycled gypsum – sourced entirely from gypsum recovered after use ✅ Uses nearly only circular material for its other constituents– maximising resource efficiency ✅ Same high performance – meeting industry standards ✅ Patent pending – reinforcing our leadership in recycled gypsum technology ✅ Sustainability for customers – a practical alternative for mainstream construction projects, not just niche applications RECYPLAC™ is set for market launch in France in July 2025, thanks to the dedicated collaboration between our R&D teams in Avignon and Siniat France. This achievement further strengthens our leadership in circular construction and advances our sustainability goals, with some plants surpassing 35% recycled gypsum ratios, applied across all plasterboard products—both standard and technical.
