What do skiing and generative AI have in common? ⛷️ We’ve combined these two worlds for Kriski, a Belgian ski tour operator specialising in family-friendly ski vacations, by building a WhatsApp-based AI assistent. Here are some of the benefits: 👉 Instant communication Important announcements, such as schedule updates or weather alerts, are sent instantly via WhatsApp, ensuring travelers are always informed. Travelers can ask the chatbot anything about their trip 👉 Seamless photo sharing Travelers can upload images directly through WhatsApp, which are then organised into a shared album, making memories easily accessible. 👉 Efficient lost-and-found Travelers can report missing items directly in WhatsApp, allowing staff to provide timely updates when items are recovered. By leveraging generative AI, we’ve created a lightweight, reliable chat solution that enhances the overall travel experience. Turning Ghent into a European #TechCapital also means practicing what you preach! 🚑Imagine a city where emergency services never get stuck in traffic. Thanks to a smart collab, Ghent's fire brigade now enjoys green lights during emergencies. 🔹 Mobilidata aims to make traffic smoother and safer by using real-time data. 🔹 Yunex Traffic and SWARCO have upgraded and connected the traffic lights to the mobile network for data exchange. 🔹 Endare - AI-accelerated digital innovation collected different routes and positioned data of emergency services via the Mona app, which runs on the tablets in the vehicles. 🔹 Be-Mobile provided the software that integrates all systems and decides when the lights should turn green based on all this collected data. The app was built in cooperation with Brandweerzone Centrum, Departement Mobiliteit en Openbare Werken - Vlaamse overheid and Be-Mobile, as part of the Flemish Mobilidata project.
