🚛⚡ A Belgian First: TROVA Delivers Its First Retrofitted Electric Truck! ⚡🚛 Brucargo, March 25, 2025 — A major milestone in the transition to sustainable transport! Yesterday, e-TROVA officially handed over TROVA’s first fully electric retrofit truck to our customer Ninatrans, right at the heart of Brussels Airport in the amazing AHLEX training center. This Volvo FH is not just any truck — it's the first in Belgium to receive official homologation through a retrofit process. Introducing Marco Caponi – Senior Engineer at e-Trova At e-Trova, we take pride in the talented and dedicated individuals who drive our mission forward. Today, we are pleased to introduce Marco Caponi, Senior Engineer, and share insights into his journey and motivations for joining our project. Background & Expertise: Marco’s passion for heavy-duty vehicles has been a constant throughout his life. This interest led him to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2012, specialising in vehicle technology. With over 12 years of experience in the automotive industry, Marco has honed his expertise in leading a technical team and integrating heavy-duty powertrains for a prominent OEM. His experience and technical knowledge made him the ideal candidate to lead the engineering efforts at e-Trova. Marco became the first employee of e-Trova when he joined in the first quarter of 2024. Personal Q&A: Question: Why is it important for you personally to be part of this project? Marco Starting a company from the ground up, especially one focused on heavy-duty electric vehicles, was a natural choice for me. The opportunity to shape and optimize such innovative technologies is both professionally fulfilling and personally exciting. Being part of a project that pushes the boundaries of sustainable transportation in the heavy-duty sector is something I am deeply committed to.
