Role overview:
As our Office Administrator you will be the face of the business and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company. This role requires a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can multitask and work across different software systems. You will provide exceptional customer service to our customers, manage daily office functions, support team members, and contribute to a positive workplace environment.
Main Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact for our customers, taking calls and directing to the appropriate team member
Act as a liaison between departments to streamline communication and workflows
Manage and update systems
Help to maintain the new HR system (Employment Hero)
Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires
Provide general support to the Finance Manager and liaise with accounts payable and receivable as required
Manage daily office operations, including supply inventory, ordering office materials, and coordinating maintenance or repairs
General administration and data entry
Organise and schedule meetings, appointments, and events, including booking rooms and arranging catering or materials as required
What you will bring:
Proven experience in an administrative/office role
Customer service experience, over the phone
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and confidence in learning new software applications
A genuine interest in establishing improved efficiency via better systems
Proactive and resourceful with a mindset to get things done
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Good problem-solving abilities
Fast and accurate typing/data entry skills
Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously
