Role overview:

As our Office Administrator you will be the face of the business and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company. This role requires a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can multitask and work across different software systems. You will provide exceptional customer service to our customers, manage daily office functions, support team members, and contribute to a positive workplace environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for our customers, taking calls and directing to the appropriate team member
  • Act as a liaison between departments to streamline communication and workflows
  • Manage and update systems
  • Help to maintain the new HR system (Employment Hero)
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires
  • Provide general support to the Finance Manager and liaise with accounts payable and receivable as required
  • Manage daily office operations, including supply inventory, ordering office materials, and coordinating maintenance or repairs
  • General administration and data entry
  • Organise and schedule meetings, appointments, and events, including booking rooms and arranging catering or materials as required

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience in an administrative/office role
  • Customer service experience, over the phone
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and confidence in learning new software applications
  • A genuine interest in establishing improved efficiency via better systems
  • Proactive and resourceful with a mindset to get things done
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • Fast and accurate typing/data entry skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously
