  • We're expecting to welcome 2.5 million passengers this Easter school holiday! Here are some important details to help you plan your journey: 🐰 Make sure to plan ahead, check-in online, pre-book parking, and allow plenty of time to reach the airport. 🧳 At T1 International, works are ongoing to add 15 new screening lanes with advanced CT scanning technology. Five lanes are already operational. 🛫 Rex Airlines and FlyPelican now depart from T3 Domestic, to facilitate construction at T2 Domestic. 📅 Peak travel days will be Thursday 17 April for domestic and Friday 18 April for international. • Congratulations to our Treasury Team, who were awarded Corporate Issuer of the Year and US Private Placement Deal of the Year by KangaNews. Last week, Michael Momdjian, Haris Mustafa, and Mitesh Barai proudly accepted these prestigious awards on behalf of Sydney Airport. The recognition comes after an outstanding 2024, in which our team managed A$3.5 billion equivalent of debt issuance. Well done to everyone involved!

🚨 REX PASSENGER INFORMATION 🚨 From 8 April 2025, Rex will temporarily relocate to Sydney Airport’s Terminal 3 (T3) to help reduce passenger volumes at Domestic Terminal 2 (T2) during its renovation. The transformation is expected to be completed by late 2026. What does this mean for our passengers departing Sydney? From 8 April 2025, all Rex passengers will check-in and clear security at T3, with all flights departing from Gate 14. What does this mean for our passengers arriving into Sydney? All Rex passengers landing at Sydney will continue to arrive into T2 as per normal, including the same baggage collection points. Passengers on connecting Rex flights via Sydney will need to make their way from T2 to T3, which is just a short walk (approximately 5 mins) along a pedestrian walkway in the P1 car park located outside of T2. The works being undertaken at T2 will provide a better passenger experience for Rex customers from late 2026. Thank you for continued support and we look forward to seeing you onboard again soon. • This week, we marked World Autism Understanding Day, a time to recognise neurodiversity and promote inclusivity in travel. We’re committed to making journeys smoother for everyone. Through our partnership with Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect), we train our staff and airline partners to better support passengers with hidden disabilities, ensuring a more accessible and stress-free airport experience. Hidden Disabilities Sunflower signs help staff identify travellers who may need extra assistance. 🌻 Let's create a more inclusive journey for all. #WAUD2025 #HiddenDisabilities #SydneyAirport

  • Back home after an incredible journey—welcome back, agents! Last month, eight lucky travel agents had the incredible opportunity to fly to Houston with United Airlines as part of an exclusive familiarisation tour. They immersed themselves in Texas' renowned Southern hospitality and discovered the rich cultural heritage of Memphis, Tennessee. The agents were successful participants of the Houston training programme designed to promote tourism to Southern US on the SYD-IAH route. This initiative was a collaboration between #SydneyAirport, #UnitedAirlines, Travel Texas, and Memphis Tourism. #MyUnitedJourney #VisitHouston #Memphis #MustBeMemphis #LetsTexas

  • 25 Years of Emirates in Sydney ✈️🎉 On 27 March 2000, Emirates touched down in Sydney for the first time. What started with 65,000 passengers in its first year has grown into nearly a million travellers passing through Sydney Airport with Emirates annually. From launching non-stop flights to Dubai in 2003 to making history with the A380 in 2008, Emirates has played a key role in connecting Sydney to the world. Today, with four daily A380 flights, Emirates continues to shape the future of travel. Here’s to 25 years of partnership and many more to come. Congratulations, Emirates! 📸 Nigel Coghlan
