We have officially opened the doors to a new home in the club’s old heartland, and named it in honour of Bloods Legend, Bob Skilton OAM. Bob Skilton House is in Cecil Street outside the iconic South Melbourne Markets, providing a hub for members and fans in the heart of South Melbourne. https://lnkd.in/g5i72jg7

The Sydney Swans have welcomed global Korean food brand bibigo to the red and white family as an official supplier. The Swans will join a strong line up of international organisations working with the bibigo brand, including the Los Angeles Lakers, The CJ Cup Byron Nelson and globally popular Netflix series Squid Game. The project of a lifetime. Incredibly proud moment last night to see the opening of the Sydney Swans Peter Weinert museum. For the best part of two years, I’ve been working on the text creation for the museum’s physical and digital spaces. To see it all come to life and witness the reaction of people who’ve played such significant roles in the club’s incredible journey was an experience I’ll never forget. The museum includes a narrative timeline outlining the club’s 151-year history, a dedicated Brownlow Medallist display, six display cabinets housing unique artefacts, the Hall of Fame showcasing the club’s greats, video footage and interactive digital elements. To be entrusted with the storytelling of one of Australia’s oldest and most iconic sporting clubs - my club - means the world. Working alongside and learning from phenomenal operators, Loretta Johns Liz Ponitka Justin Brow and Dean Moore has been invaluable and so enjoyable. The work continues as we build a comprehensive digitally accessible historical collection, but the museum is now open to the public.
