Southern Cross Catholic College is a Prep to Year 12 day school offering families a co-educational pathway to life-long learning. The College was founded in 1995 following the amalgamation of the Catholic primary and secondary schools in the Moreton Bay Region. Today, the multi-campus College operates as the principal Catholic College on the Redcliffe Peninsula. Southern Cross Catholic College has three campuses located in Scarborough, Kippa Ring and Woody Point; accommodating students in Prep to Year 6 and a fourth campus, also located in Scarborough, accommodating middle and senior years students from Years 7 to 12. The College strives to provide each student with a coherent and seamless transition from Prep to Year 12 and maintains a proud record of academic and sporting achievement. On Saturday morning, Year 11 and 12 Southern Cross Catholic College students participated in the first stage of the Lions Youth of the Year public speaking competition. It was both humbling and heart-warming to hear the judges and LYOTY volunteers describe our students as personable, articulate and sharp-minded. The College now looks forward to hosting the second stage of the public speaking competition where we will have the privilege of hearing our students deliver speeches on topics they're passionate about. It will also be an opportunity to celebrate our students' participation and achievements, particularly for our Year 12 students who have gained so much from these experiences. Saturday was made even more special as we were able to meet Zoe Carroll, 2017 College Dux, who served on the adjudicating panel and shared her exciting experiences since graduating from SCCC. #LionsClub #publicspeaking #education #students

In 2025 Southern Cross Catholic College is introducing new school bus services to ensure more families are able to access quality, Catholic co-education, on the Redcliffe Peninsula The graphics are meant to reflect our fun nature and inclusivity, helping us stand out in the crowd.
