About us
Regional Development Australia Northern Territory (RDA NT) is a local not-for-profit concerned with supporting the sustainable development of the Northern Territory. We work to identify and facilitate diverse projects that contribute towards this broad objective. We use the power of partnerships, across three tiers of government, industry, and other not-for-profits, to maximise our impact. RDA NT is part of a national network of 55 RDAs. This network is an initiative of the Australian Government, overseen by the Federal Minister for Regional Development through the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development. RDA NT also partners closely with the Northern Territory Government. RDA NT is led by a committee comprised of representatives from across the Territory, thereby allowing local people to develop local solutions to local issues. The RDA NT Committee consists of a Chair and Deputy Chair appointed by the Federal Minister, and members appointed by the Chair and Deputy Chair. The Committee is supported by a small team of staff.

The theme of this year’s event is ‘Uplifting industry across the north to meet capability demands of the ADF, allies and partners’. Now in its fourth year, NT Defence Week provides opportunities for local defence businesses, whilst attracting visiting defence and industry representatives.
