What happens when a brand known for being a little too naked pulls an April Fools' prank? Chaos, confusion and a whole lot of engagement. Instead of the generic “something is coming” hype strategy for our upcoming announcement, we wanted to create something our community simply couldn’t scroll past. Something that got them completely and utterly invested in what was to come next. So naturally, we staged a fake US trip. We booked a stretch hummer to the airport, captured all the ‘travel content’ we could, and - with a little Photoshop ✨ magic ✨ - dropped ourselves into iconic LA hotspots. Passports, (completely empty) suitcases, Hollywood backdrops… all perfectly curated to sell the illusion. On April 1st, we came clean: We didn’t take our entire team to the US… because we can’t even trade there. Why go this far for a prank? Because we wanted to break through the noise and ACTUALLY connect with our audience. This wasn’t about fooling our community, it was about making people stop, pay attention, and be part of something bigger. We wanted to spark genuine conversation and get people actively involved with what’s next. And it worked! People weren’t just watching - they were engaging, talking and sharing with us. Phase 1 is wrapped, and now that you’re hooked, we’re moving into Phase 2… and things are getting ✨ naked ✨. Let's just say we're going out the way that we came in.
