At the heart of this project is positive change, with over 80 of our Kilburn, SA undertaking the project. We’re focused on improving our work environments, engaging our staff, and tackling the little things that get in the way of doing a great job. Congratulations to our Kilburn Leadership Network for completing the first 12 months of our leadership program! Today we celebrated this milestone with some good old team building with a round of bowling, food and prizes! We started our leadership network a year ago to support team leaders and supervisors develop in their leadership roles and build relationships with other leaders across our Kilburn site. Korvest Community Support Program in Action! George Elvin, our Customer Service Manager at Korvest Galvanisers nominated Guinea Pigs Australia Pty Ltd to receive a $1,000 donation in our 2024 #KorvestCommunitySupportProgram on behalf of his daughter Gracie. Guinea Pigs Australia rescue abandoned and unwanted guinea pigs. The rescue centre has a policy for no euthanasia and can become overwhelmed with the number of guinea pigs needing re-homing. The funding was used to provide de-sexing to 10 guinea pigs before being rehomed. The Elvin family are now home to a revolving door of permanent, semi-permanent and foster guinea pigs, caring them back to health so they can be re-homed to new families. We are pleased to share the latest story from our #KorvestCommunitySupportProgram. Aaron Burgess is the A-Grade Team Manager for the Fitzroy Football Club in South Australia and nominated the club for a $1,000 contribution towards new guernseys. Until now, Fitzroy has loaned guernseys when they have clash games which often resulted in players wearing guernsies that don’t fit correctly, don’t carry their preferred playing number and did not adequately represent the club. They had the opportunity to wear their new Korvest EzyStrut Cable & Pipe Supports sponsored guernseys a couple of times in the past few weeks. Below are images of the new tops in action which were received with excitement by the entire playing group and the Fitzroy Football Club. Earlier this week we were pleased to attend University of South Australia's Scholarships Event where Korvest's HR Manager Christine Kaine presented Amarpal Atwal with the Korvest Mechanical Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing scholarship valued at $15,000 over 3 years. Amarpal has a strong passion for machinery having grown up on a farm. We look forward to working with him over the course of his study. Korvest and EzyStrut Cable & Pipe Supports are pleased to join the scholarship program this year providing support to a Bachelor of Engineering 2nd year student with a financial scholarship to support their studies and industry experience through an internship during their study. Scholarship applications for our next award will open shortly for eligible students, and we look forward to joining Ke Xing, Darren Garbin and Margaret Hunt at UniSA in the upcoming selection process. #engineering #scholarship Brenton Davey

Chris Hartwig our Managing Director nominated Northern Districts Athletics Club (Jets) who received a $1,000 donation from Korvest to purchase new fabric backgrounds which are used at events (shown in the image below). Chris is involved with the club as both an athlete and an organiser of their main fundraising event.
