  • This #WorldHealthDay 2025 we celebrate our incredible ISS Pacific healthcare Placemakers! Their dedication to seamless non-clinical services ensures better healthcare experiences and supports the delivery of high-quality patient care across Australia and New Zealand. This year’s theme, "Healthy beginnings, hopeful futures" calls for renewed efforts to end preventable maternal and newborn deaths while prioritising women’s long-term health. A special shoutout to Maria Teresa Iturra Alonso at Waikato Hospital! Her safety initiatives have reduced workplace incidents by 15%, directly impacting patient well-being. Maria’s recent implementation of a refined safety protocol has created a significantly safer environment for over 300 Placemakers and the patients they support. As we acknowledge World Health Day, we recognise the often-unsung heroes who make a profound impact on healthcare. Their hard work and commitment are essential to creating a healthier future for all. #OneISS #Healthcare #CreatingSafeSpacesTogether

  • What a fantastic few days in Melbourne we had recently, hosting our global leaders and sharing the incredible work happening across our business. It was a pleasure to welcome Kasper Fangel, Group CEO, Troels Bjerg, Group COO, and Aksh Rohatgi, APAC Managing Director, and a huge thank you to them for taking the time to connect with our teams and experience our operations firsthand. From healthcare to banking, aviation to resort management, they saw the depth of our customer partnerships, our strong commitment to sustainability and the dedication of our Placemakers in action. What stood out most? Our unwavering focus on quality and the ‘sparkle in the eye’ of our engaged teams – something that makes ISS truly special. It was a privilege to celebrate this dedication in person – recognising our team at Eastern Health as they received customer-led Apple Awards for going above and beyond and bringing excellence to the work they do. Their visit reinforced our shared vision and strategic direction, highlighting the value we bring to the Pacific region. We’re proud of what we’ve built and excited for what’s ahead. Looking forward to welcoming them back soon! #OneISS #PeopleMakePlaces #ServiceExcellence

New security screening experience at Terminal 1! Flying Qantas from Terminal 1 (T1)? You’ll notice a smoother, more advanced security screening process designed to make your journey faster and easier. We’ve introduced new state-of-the-art body scanners and CT x-ray technology lanes, making Terminal 1 security processes the same as all our other terminals. Here’s what to expect during security screening: - Store loose items in your carry-on before joining the queue - Remove bulky outerwear such as coats, jackets and hats, and place them in a tray - Keep laptops, tablets and aerosols in your bag - no need to unpack - Place your carry-on baggage in the tray - Empty your pockets and place all items, including keys, coins, and electronic devices, in a tray - Inform security of any medical devices or implants - If you're wearing a belt, hold it in your hand as you as you head through security - Follow the guidance of our friendly security team With these changes, security screening is now the same across all terminals at Melbourne Airport and align with Australia’s latest aviation security legislation. We hope this makes your travel journey more efficient and consistent. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gH3czUnq #MelbourneAirport #TravelTips #AirportSecurity

  • For the second year, we joined Soldier On Australia’s #MarchOnChallenge. Now, as Platinum Pledge partners, we are reaffirming our dedication to supporting veterans and their families. In Melbourne our team, led by Keith French, General Manager Business Development, walked with Jason Isaac, Senior Program and Engagement Officer, covering some 96km. This distance reflects the length of Papua New Guinea’s Kokoda Track – a symbol of the sacrifices made by veterans and their families during this important battle in Australia’s World War II history. A shoutout to our colleagues – including many veterans – nationwide, such as Craig Zubrinich, JP (Qualified), MAHRI, who are leading their own March On initiatives. Our collective efforts demonstrate our widespread commitment to building a veteran-friendly workplace. We’re proud to have veterans among our Placemakers, who play a vital role in delivering essential services at ISS-serviced sites across the country. Together, we continue to create a workplace of belonging and support for those who have served. #PeopleMakePlaces #MarchOn #CompanyofBelonging

  • At ISS, we’re committed to creating safe and inclusive workplaces that value diversity. We’re proud to continue our sponsorship of the Rainbow New Zealand Charitable Trust tertiary scholarship for the third consecutive year. This year’s scholarship, which is the only one of its kind in New Zealand, was awarded to Max (he/him) who is studying biomedical science at university in Wellington. Max’s leadership, shown through his volunteer work and dedication to the LGBTIQA+ community and his school community, and his commitment to biomedical science demonstrate the values we champion. We’re dedicated to supporting future leaders. Congratulations, Max! We can’t wait to see all that you will achieve in your academic journey and beyond! #CompanyofBelonging #FutureLeaders #CelebratingDiversity
