The North Queensland Hydrogen Grand Prix meet-up this week was a great success! The students from St Patrick's College Townsville did an amazing job completing their car builds and testing the machines on the track. We are incredibly impressed by the student’s tenacity in tackling new challenges, the teamwork in finding solutions and enthusiasm for the race. Mentored by engineers from our race partners, Siemens Energy, this is STEM education in action. We’re thrilled to be part of the joy and discovery the St Pats students are experiencing and proud to be supporting our future female scientist and engineers. The girls are looking very strong for the North Queensland finals in May. Go St Pats! We are pleased that our Ganymirra and Majors Creek Solar Power Stations near Townsville in North Queensland have been awarded a Capacity Investment Scheme Agreement. These projects will be among the first of Edify Energy’s hybrid solar power stations, which combine low-cost solar energy with the dispatchability and stability properties of grid-forming battery technologies, to meet the stringent demands of a high renewable penetration market.
