What an incredible week! 🎉 We just concluded our APJMEA Sales Kick-Off (SKO) for FY26 in Melbourne, and it was nothing short of spectacular! It was an honour to welcome over 550 colleagues from 21 countries who came together to learn, collaborate, network, and celebrate. Our focus was on Winning TOGETHER, and the energy in the room was palpable throughout the two full days. With our customers, partners, and guest speakers, the event was filled with insightful sessions and meaningful connections. The difference is in the doing! School students from the Te Aka Toitū Trust joined our partners the Shell V-Power Racing Team for a garage tour ahead of Supercars race in Taupo this weekend. The Te Aka Toitū Trust is dedicated to addressing the digital divide for decile 1 and 2 students and their families, enabling them to become connected and engaged with learning opportunities.  During the visit, the Shell V-Power Racing team took students through the race set up of the cars, while the mechanics, engineers and our own Kerry Kingi took the time to talk to students about STEM pathways and their journeys into motorsports and IT. A big thank you to drivers Brodie Kostecki and Will Davison for taking the time to speak to the students as well. Sharing the day with over 150 Chief Security Officers at ADAPT #SecurityEdge in Sydney could not have been timelier, with 2025 bringing a trifecta of increased cyberattacks, rapidly growing AI usage, and geopolitical uncertainty. Across two sessions, we gleaned key insights: ➡️ DXC’s roundtable ‘Putting Zero Trust to Work’ heard 15+ cybersecurity executives share common challenges around Zero Trust implementation – with most managing ongoing tensions between meeting regulatory compliance, gaining boardroom buy-in, and encouraging organisational acceptance. ➡️ On the main stage, DXC’s Kylie Watson joined industry peer Catherine Rowe in a panel session moderated by Jason Murrell, Chair & Co-Founder of Australian Cyber Network, to discuss its upcoming 2025 research release, and the related impact and focus areas: 💰 Ransomware attacks have increased from 53% to 69%, and 84% of ransomware has been paid – improving cyber literacy is more important than ever. ⚠️ Australia is now #4 on the list of most attacked countries – as one of the most vulnerable, we need to protect our critical infrastructure. 🚺 Women in cyber increased from 17% to 25%, but cultural inclusion could see this slow.
