We’re pleased to announce the ACEREZ partnership (ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy), with Capella Capital as financial advisor, has achieved Financial Close on the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Transmission Project procured by EnergyCo. ACEREZ has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana REZ transmission network. As the first contestable transmission project for the Renewable Energy Zones in Australia, it is a pathfinder project, leading the way in the energy transition with Capella Capital intimately involved in the development of this project up to and including Financial Close.   This project will see the construction of new high-capacity transmission lines, energy hubs and supporting infrastructure to transfer power generated by solar and wind farms to electricity consumers. Expected to be operational by 2028, the Central-West Orana REZ will support around 5,000 construction jobs in the region at its peak and initially unlock up to 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity – the equivalent of powering 2 million homes. The project is expected to bring up to $20 billion in private investment to the region by 2030. • A huge milestone was achieved for the Spark North East Link Tunnels D&C project recently🎇   Both TBMs have broken through the Lower Plenty Road Box site with more than 250 people contributing to this milestone from the TBM and Lower Plenty team to safety, communications, commercial and engagement.     The Lower Plenty team has done an incredible job preparing the box for the arrival of both TBMs, with approximately 413,000 cubic metres of dirt removed from the site. At breakthrough, TBM 1 has excavated over 920,000 tons of rock and dirt, installing 711 rings (7110 segments) on its journey from Watsonia.    Both TBMs have now excavated more than 1.6kms. The two TBMs will undergo mechanical inspections and maintenance before continuing on their journey towards Bulleen. Both TBMs will complete their journeys in 2026 with the North East Link tunnels open in 2028.

Capella Capital set for further expansion with new equity partner One of Japan’s largest investment and trading companies, Sojitz Corporation, has entered into a binding agreement to acquire Lendlease’s interest in Capella Capital and its equity interests in four Public Private Partnerships including North East Link, Melbourne Metro Tunnel and Stations, Frankston Hospital Redevelopment and Melton Hospital PPP. With Sojitz support, Capella will be able to build on its success to date with Lendlease and target a broader range of infrastructure assets both in Australia and globally while remaining a standalone entity. There will be continuity of management and staff across origination, asset and funds management. Existing management remain committed to Capella and will continue as equity investors alongside Sojitz. No change is expected for existing operations across government partners, assets, project partners, equity investors, banks and other key stakeholders. It will be business as usual with day-to-day operations and branding will remain the same. Capella will also continue to work with Lendlease on current and future projects where Lendlease brings relevant construction or development capability in the social infrastructure sector. • The Exemplar Health team was delighted to recently welcome the Minister for Health Infrastructure Mary-Anne Thomas and other State Government representatives who viewed the impressive new external façade of the Frankston Hospital Redevelopment. It’s been a big year for the project. We reached structural completion in July with the new clinical services hospital tower ‘topping out’ at 13 levels, completed the new emergency department short stay unit in October and have started assembly on the ground of the helipad that will be then be lifted onto the rooftop for installation. We thank all the project partners for their contributions this year as we work towards completion of main works in late 2025. #CapellaCapital #FrankstonHospitalRedevelopment

The striking external façade of the $1.1 billion Frankston Hospital redevelopment tower is now complete! The façade features more than 4,000 glass, terracotta, and porcelain panels, each weighing between 250 and 1,000 kilograms. Once complete, the massive redevelopment will transform services at the hospital, creating capacity for 35,000 additional patients to be treated each year. Milestone moment ⛏️ Tunnel boring machine (TBM) Zelda has now tunnelled 1km on her journey to Bulleen! After launching earlier this year, both TBM Zelda and Gillian are working under Yallambie, making their way towards our site at Lower Plenty Road, where they’ll break through for a brief stint above ground. In Bulleen, 5 road headers continue building the section of tunnel between our Manningham and Trinity work sites that will seamlessly connect an upgraded Eastern Freeway to the North East Link tunnels, helping take 15,000 trucks off local roads a day and slashing travel times by 35 minutes. • Spark North East Link Tunnels D&C raised more than $124,000 for Movember this year, tripling last year’s total and coming near the top of the leaderboard in the Movember Construction Challenge involving companies across Australia. Michael W. from the Project Co Team initiated the process with Spark North East Link Tunnels D&C to strive to be the number one construction team in this year’s construction challenge. The money will be used to support men’s health, suicide prevention, and cancer research. On average men die 4.5 years earlier than women, often for reasons that are easily preventable. Almost 11 million men around the world are living with prostate cancer, and testicular cancer remains the most common cancer among young men. One man dies by suicide every minute, and construction workers are six times more likely to die by suicide than from a workplace accident. #CapellaCapital #SparkNorthEastLink #ProjectCo #Movember #MensMentalHealth
