The Tonsley Innovation District event brought industry, academia and government together to explore the latest advancements, trends and local supply chain opportunities in manufacturing. Our team and partners showcased research and technology projects that are transforming the world of shipbuilding: ✅ Collaborative welding robots that are providing greater flexibility for our people ✅ New safety sensor hardware that is providing extra redundancy protecting our people working in hazardous environments ✅ Smart, inclusive micro factories that will create opportunities for people with disabilities to work in manufacturing. Special shout out to the City of Marion and Flinders University’s Factory of the Future for organising and hosting the event. 👏👏👏

📑We have entered into a 10-year Head Agreement with Boeing Defence Australia to deliver our sovereign Vehicle Management System into the MQ-28 Ghost Bat, driving forward the future of Australian uncrewed air capability. 🤝 We have been a strategic partner on the MQ-28 Program since 2017, leveraging more than 40 years of vehicle management systems development that enable the aircraft to fly autonomously. ✈️ Read more about our strategic partnership here: http://baes.co/qrvL50VxSW7

Power in partnership 🤝 The Royal Australian Navy's Hobart Class destroyers will be upgraded with enhanced combat systems—ensuring our Navy is equipped with advanced capability to protect our nation. Through the Combat Systems Integration – Integrated Project Team, we are working in partnership with Lockheed Martin Australia, Saab Australia, and Defence to upgrade the Aegis Combat System, introduce Saab’s new Australian Interface, and incorporate the Tomahawk Weapon System.
