Last keynote talk of the year 🎤🎉 at the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia Queensland Christmas Brunch! 🎄🥳 What a lovely morning connecting with many beautiful ladies over brunch. 🥗🧁 Grateful to not only share my journey of overcoming unique challenges and burnout 🏞🌈, but also use my learnings to help others prevent burnout and redefine purpose and success. 😇🙏 I enjoyed hearing the other lived experience speakers Karen Bragg (diabetes educator) and Caitlin Alsop (sepsis awareness advocate). 👏 Part of the joys of being a speaker is having opportunities to hear from other speakers and to be constantly learning and growing. 🌱 Thank you to the DHAA Inc National President Carol Tran and the Queensland Committee including Gabrielle Williamson, Courtney Dicken and Danielle Gibbens for the kind invite. 🥰 Well done organising great events for the dental community (especially fellow super mum Gabby 👶🫶).

Last week, I had the privilege of MCing a fantastic event for our support people at Place. Our Power Up! events are all about bringing together our HQ staff, real estate administrators, office managers and property managers to collaborate, grow and celebrate away from the day-to-day hustle that is sales and property management. Highlights included: - Dr Grace Sha's keynote "From Burnout to Abundance," where she discussed burnout prevention and self care in high stress industries. - Kym Krey on "Trust over Transaction," which reinforced the value of building genuine connections. We also learned that Kym had been a client of Place as both a buyer and seller and was blown away with the experience she had! - The Place Power Panel, moderated by myself, featuring our colleagues Aaron Richards, Amanda Deshong, Felix Luscombe, and Tatum Green, all of whom shared their experiences, lessons and advice on building a sustainable career at Place. Love coming together with the people who are the powerhouse of our successful teams. It was a privilege to be part of such a meaningful event!

Last Friday, our support crew spent an inspiring morning at the Power Up! Support Series Breakfast! 🥞 Our Power Up! events bring together our agent support, office managers, property managers and HQ support teams to celebrate their achievements, and to further enrich our staff in their roles. This ensures our support staff can most effectively support their agents, and subsequently, provide an exceptional customer service experience for their clients.
