District 123 Adds New Associate Principal at Kolmar Elementary

Oak Lawn-Hometown School District 123 is excited to announce Christina (Tina) McLane as the new Associate Principal at Kolmar Elementary for the 2025-26 school year. Tina McLane will be available for a meet and greet with the community on May 6 at 6:15 PM.

Tina is an experienced and dedicated educational leader who will be serving as the Associate Principal at Kolmar School for the 2025/2026 school year. With a passion for fostering academic excellence, supporting special education services and creating a positive learning environment, Tina will play a key role in supporting the academic and administrative functions of the school.

Before assuming the role of Associate Principal, Tina spent two years as Kolmar, Hannum and Sward’s Special Education Supervisor, where she gained valuable experience in student support, program development, and department leadership. Tina holds a degree in Educational Leadership from Aurora University, as well as degrees in Special Education, Sociology and Political Science from the University of Illinois.

In her new role, Tina will work closely with Dave Creech, principal,  to implement school wide policies, coordinate special education and student support services, lead professional development initiatives, and oversee student academic performance. 

Tina is committed to building strong relationships with students, staff, and the broader school community. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Tina enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling.
