Empowering the next generation on Future Day 2025! 👩🔬👨🔧 #Zukunftstag – Germany’s nationwide Future Day – is an annual initiative that gives school students the chance to explore various career paths and gain real-world insights into working life. It’s all about discovering new professions, breaking stereotypes, and inspiring future talents. All our CHT Germany sites all took part in this inspiring initiative – here are some impressions from our plant in Oyten - Lower Saxony! 🧬 On April 3rd, nine curious students visited our site to discover the many exciting occupational activities within our company. After a warm welcome and safety briefing, they explored our administration, production and logistics areas, where they completed practical tasks like soldering and assembling boxes with hazardous goods labels 📦⚠️ – well guided by our skilled team. 🧪 In our labs, the students created gummy bear models using two-component silicone – with expert insights from CHT’s @Sven Oliver Angersbach on the chemistry behind the process. 🎁 The day wrapped up with a feedback session, certificates, and a selection of corporate giveaways as a memory of their experience at CHT Group. 👏 A big thank you to everyone who made this day a success. With this appointment, Dr. Lorenza Sartorelli completes the management board consisting of Dr. Christian Rink (CFO) and Eva Baumann (CEO). 🌍 With the now complete management team, the CHT Group is continuing its strategic realignment. 🚮 International Day of Zero Waste 🚮   International Day of Zero Waste is a reminder of the urgent need to improve waste management globally and promote sustainable consumption and production patterns.   👔 This year's theme is "Towards Zero Waste in Fashion and Textiles" 👖   🫵 It is estimated that around 92 million tons of textile waste is generated every year. Most of this waste ends up in landfills or is incinerated.    Waste pollution is a threat to human health, leads to economic costs and has a negative impact on our planet (e.g. greenhouse gas emissions, water pollution, loss of land and biodiversity). 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁: 𝗖𝗛𝗧 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗻'𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 In response to the 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 by the Wangniudun Town Agriculture, Forestry and Water Affairs Bureau, CHT Dongguan took practical steps to fulfill its corporate social responsibility: By 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 🌳 and organizing employees for 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, we contributed to the local ecological environment. On March 14th, CHT Dongguan employees joined local government and community representatives in Wangdong Village for tree planting. 👨🌾 Together, we added new greenery to the village, symbolizing our commitment to a greener future.
