This investment is a powerful endorsement of Gauteng’s position as a gateway to Africa and a premier destination for strategic, job-creating foreign direct investment. The facility, set to open in 2027, will produce 100,000 tons of malt annually, creating 50–60 direct jobs and sourcing 125,000 tons of local produce—a major boost for agriculture, SMEs, and sustainable value chains. Soufflet’s decision to invest here is no accident.
