The McNay’s 2025 Fiesta medal draws from a work in our collection: Mi Chicano Corazon by Einar and Jamex de la Torre, which was featured in the spring 2024 banner exhibition, de la Torre Brothers: Upward Mobility. Here, Mi Chicano Corazon meets Lotería card, blending art and culture in a vibrant design that captures the spirit of San Antonio’s Fiesta®. Thank you to the de la Torre brothers for their collaboration on this year’s medal, designed by Olga Maya, Graphic Designer at the McNay.
