Social Impact for #ZeroWaste 🌍 At Schneider Electric, we are dedicated to achieving net-zero targets. As Olivier Blum explains, sustainability is deeply embedded in Schneider Electric's strategy 💚 Through our Youth Impact Through Learning initiative, we focus on upskilling, training, and empowering youth in the energy sector. We educate and train them on renewable energy practices and equipment, ensuring they are not only aware but also equipped for the sustainable energy transition. A prime example is our Circularity program, which donates equipment to energy training centers for training in the field of energy. This initiative supports the circular economy by extending the life of products and providing hands-on training with Schneider Electric equipment, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, empowering youth with essential industry skills 🌍 #Circularity #YouthImpact #InternationalZeroWasteDay Tournon Marie-Hélène Zanelle Dalglish Raeesa Suffla
Earlier this year, Schneider Electric was named Most Sustainable Company by Corporate Knights for the second time, a first for any company. This, along with our recognition from TIME Magazine and Statista in 2024, has led to many asking, 'What does it take to become the most sustainable company?' After 32 years with Schneider Electric, I can tell you, sustainability isn't a side project; it's a fundamental pillar of our company strategy and how we operate daily to generate short and long term impact in mind. And yes, it didn't happen overnight. The answer isn't about chasing accolades. It's about recognizing that sustainability is intrinsically tied to business results. I like to remind everyone that only a strong performance gives you the right to play and make an impact. It's about ensuring we can deliver strong financial results in the short term with long-term positive impact and resilience in mind. It is about doing the right things for today and beyond for tomorrow to impact our entire ecosystem. We don't see sustainability as something that exists in a parallel universe. It is fully integrated in our business strategy. Join us on this journey. Learn more about becoming an #ImpactCompany: https://lnkd.in/g226Kha #ImpactStartsWithUs

At the Schneider Electric Foundation, we envision a world where every young person can imagine their future and participate in building a more sustainable world. Our approach is deeply rooted in local partnerships, as we believe that meaningful change comes from collective effort.🌱 In this collaborative journey, the role of both Country President and Foundation Delegate are vital. While Country President provides strategic leadership and support to our core missions, the Delegate acts as an Ambassador of the Foundation’s initiatives locally, fostering and maintaining local partnerships with dedicated NGOs. Both of their commitments and presence illustrates how cross-border collaboration can effectively tackle pressing social challenges. 🌍 On this occasion, we would like to extend our heartfelt thank you to Martin Setiawan, President Director of Indonesia and Timor-Leste, and Sri Rahayu Ningsih, Delegate in Indonesia, for their incredible dedication in supporting the Foundation’s activities locally. 🙏 Furthermore, the robust partnership with BLK Don Bosco-Sumba and the inspiring story of Roswita stand as a testament to their involvement, proving that none of this would have been possible without everyone’s efforts.👏 Learn more about the Foundation: http://spr.ly/60490riPf
