In a 2024 survey of BTR tenants conducted for New Home Trends Institute by John Burns Research & Consulting, respondents noted that their rental decisions were influenced by the quality of maintenance at each property. “On-site maintenance was rated as an important influence in rental decisions by 84 percent of tenants surveyed.
