NAPA Auto Care is thrilled to participate in the 2025 NHRA Youth & Education Services (YES) Program, which is a nationwide initiative designed to inspire students to explore rewarding careers in the automotive industry. NAPA Auto Care members from around the country are invited to participate in the NHRA Y.E.S. Program events to promote their job openings, and even hire their next apprentice for the NAPA Auto Care Apprentice Program! The NAPA Auto Care Apprentice Program is a 2 year paid program for aspiring automotive technicians. Graduates will go through 9 stages and earn 4 ASE certifications upon completion of the program. Each Auto Care member that attends one of the NHRA Y.E.S. events will receive exclusive hospitality access in the Ron Capps VIP Suite on the day of the event, One Day General Admission ticket for Saturday or Sunday, and an exclusive shirt. Get to know the faces behind the magic! This month's Auto Care Advisory Council Member Spotlight is Jacque & Roy Foster. A little bit about the Foster's: Jacque enjoys spending time in her backyard with her flowers and playing with her grandchildren. She also loves taking cookie decorating classes with friends, and crafting with her daughters. Roy loves the outdoors—mountain biking, backpacking, snow skiing, and riding motorcycles, both dirt and street. Both Roy and Jacque love to travel together, including coming to visit headquarters for our council meetings! ⭐ NAPA Auto Care Advisory Council Member Spotlight ⭐ Get to know the faces behind the magic! This month's Auto Care Advisory Council Member Spotlight is Brad Updegraff. Brad is a 6 shop owner of Dave's Ultimate locations throughout Texas, but he started out as a GS tech in 1997 pushing brooms and parking cars. Eventually he ran a gas station auto shop for 10 years before purchasing his first location of Dave's Ultimate, and then growing it into 6 locations. Brad has been married to his lovely wife Sara for 21 years, and they have 2 teenage daughters who play volleyball. He also has 3 male dogs to help balance the household! Brad loves sports, particularly football and golf, and dreams of retiring in Texas Hill Country on the golf course one day. Thank you Brad for your significant contribution to make the Auto Care program better each day!
