After moving into Maggie's Place, a shelter for pregnant and mothering women, participant Megan completed the Entryway program in 90 days — including 40 hours of online training, earning certifications in fair housing and sales through Grace Hill, and completing Uplevel Leasing with Savvy Leasing.🙌 After her daughter turned 9 months old, Megan began aggressively applying for leasing roles, eventually landing a position as a Leasing Agent for Avenue5 Residential! 🚪🎉 Thanks to the support from Entryway Arizona and furnishings provided by CORT, Megan and her daughter now have a beautiful, fully furnished home. After becoming a stay-at-home mom, Sierra faced a series of challenges, including separation, job loss, substance use, and homelessness. After three years of sobriety, she learned about Entryway and seized the opportunity to rebuild her career. With a background in marketing and real estate, Sierra eagerly completed training, prepared her resume, attended mock interviews, and joined the Uplevel Leasing program. At an Entryway hiring event, Sierra’s determination caught the attention of Avenue5 Residential, where she was offered a temporary role and was connected with a mentor who guided her transition to a new job and home. Thanks to a recommendation from her mentor, Sierra now has a permanent role as a leasing agent. She and her daughter (and their cat) live in a two-bedroom apartment, graciously furnished by CORT, building a stable and hopeful future. 🚪💙 #successstories #makeadifference #multifamily #careerdevelopment
