We were thrilled to host engineering students from The University of Texas at Dallas at our Emerson Pressure Management headquarters! 👷♀️👷♂️ This shadowing experience gave students valuable insight into real-world engineering. Thank you to Andrew Da Costa for mentoring and Dexina Varghese for organizing this impactful visit. We're proud to support the next generation of innovators and look forward to more collaborations with local universities! 💡🔧 #STEMEducation #EngineeringFuture #UTDallas #Emerson #FinalControl
This week at Emerson we had UT Dallas students visiting our site. I had the pleasure of being shadowed by Inioluwa Abioye and Gobani Montano. These engineering students are incredibly bright. Our Pressure Management headquarters is full of exciting equipment and business activities. I am very thankful to have been able to share my career progression, and recall the days when I was a student at UT Dallas. While studying for an engineering degree, one may not have a clear understanding of what it truly means to work in the field. Articles and videos can help, but being able to visit an active site and engage with engineers is ideal. This was our first time doing this type of shadowing event, hopefully we will continue doing more of them. Thank you Dexina Varghese for setting this up. Hopefully this post acts as a catalyst for more companies to host similar events with local universities. Andrew The University of Texas at Dallas Emerson Emerson | Final Control
