Last week we had the privilege of welcoming Tom Morrison at our Homecare Services facility in Cheadle. It was a fantastic opportunity to highlight the incredible work our team does in providing life-sustaining intravenous products to patients at homes. As Clare Wakley, Baxter’s Associate Director of Homecare, UK, shared, “Baxter is dedicated to collaborating with the NHS to empower patients to manage their care from home. Since the opening of our pharmacy distribution centre in Cheadle in 2018, we have consistently invested in our operations, expanding our capacity to support more patients.” The NHS aims to bring healthcare closer to home, and we are proud to contribute to this vision through clinical homecare. #Homecare #saveandsustainlives

Baxter's team in the UK were honoured to host a visit by Dr Anneliese Dodds MP (Oxford East), to our aseptic compounding facility in Oxford. Lindsey Hilton, Baxter’s Pharmaceuticals Business Lead UK, Ireland and Nordics said: “Baxter is proud to be part of the important Independent Aseptic Compounders sector group at BSNA, that has the shared goal to ensure that patients have access to the products they need. We have been providing aseptic compounding services in the UK for over 35 years and were delighted to be able to showcase our facility and demonstrate our commitment.” The visit was organised in partnership with the BSNA as part of ongoing engagement to raise awareness of the Independent Aseptic Compounders sector as a valued partner of the NHS in ensuring that patient specific treatment needs are met.
