The private sector is the primary producer, operator, and protector of the digital world, and its cyber defense assistance better secures all of cyberspace. Our US Cybersecurity Group offers recommendations for how these efforts can continue effectively: https://ow.ly/2Hea50VwWRH #AspenCyber #CyberDefenseAssistance #Ukraine

We were at Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) Conference in Dallas last week to connect with this special community of 2,000+ passionate people advancing pathways for women and girls in cybersecurity. Here are our highlights. Aspen Digital brought Take9, a national cybersecurity awareness campaign, to the WiCyS Conference. There, we engaged emerging leaders around a simple but critical concept: see something phishy? Pause for 9 seconds before taking an action. As sponsors of the conference, our team (represented by Amira Dhalla, Devon Regal, and Amy Schenk) asked attendees to share their tips and priorities for their personal security. At the Take9 chalk wall, people wrote answers to questions like, "Who will you commit to helping stay safe online?" At our career fair booth, we had many conversations on how attendees can bring the Take9 pause to their local communities, and we look forward to continuing the conversation. Plus, we were honored to be joined by Fareedah Shaheed (aka, CyberFareedah) throughout our time at the Conference. Click through here for some of our favorite photos, and make sure to read Amira's and Fareedah’s takeaways here: https://lnkd.in/gE7SBz-i #WiCyS2025 #Take9 #CyberCivilDefense

Building an inclusive future requires collaboration between communities and the innovators who are on the cutting edge. But navigating the myths of emerging technologies versus the realities on the ground can be hard. Without understanding how these tools and systems actually work, communities are often kept at arm’s length from product development. What can be done to close this gap?
