Building connections and promoting lifelong learning

About us

Welcome to ASA Book Club The ASA-wide Book Club began as a project initiated by the Committee on Women in Statistics (COWiS), which originally created and organized the club to foster discussions on important topics in statistics, leadership, and professional development. Over time, other groups and sections within the American Statistical Association (ASA) became involved, broadening the scope and appeal of the club. Today, it has evolved into a collaborative, ASA-wide initiative, offering a platform for members across the organization to engage in thoughtful conversations about books that impact the statistical community and beyond. It is a great way to connect with colleagues through shared ideas and reading.
