WISDOM IN BEGINNING AGAIN
The beginning of things can bring rise to a multitude of feelings and emotions. How we prepare and respond says a lot about who we are (our character) and where we are in life (accumulated wisdom currency). The accumulation of wisdom currency is the cement that binds and strengthens our character. Without it, we are more susceptible to the harsh elements that comes with living life. We become like the two little pigs who sacrificed patience, process and due diligence in favor of shortcuts. Twig and Straw houses are easy to construct but can not withstand a determined foe who has planned pork chops on the dinner menu! How we begin again or start over relies heavily on the lessons (if any) we learn from the past. If you asked the two little pigs if they learned anything, if they acquired any wisdom from that experience, I suspect the answer would be a resounding yes! I imagine they would say, "as traumatic as that experience was for us, we learned invaluable lessons". "We understand now that there are no reliable shortcuts or hacks that are worth taking when constructing something of great importance". "As we reflect back on our decision making process, our desire to take the seemingly easier route set us up for failure not success". These are just a few of the life lessons they may have reaped from the experience. The value of the wisdom currency that was available to the two little pigs in the aftermath of that experience is also available to us. Here's the key, we must use it! Wisdom's value is demonstrated in its application and usage. Wisdom currency value never fluctuates like the yuan, dollar, pound, euro and yen. There's no better time to test the value of your wisdom currency than in the unavoidable occurrence of beginning... AGAIN.
