Why you should select brazed plate heat exchanger?
What is brazed plate heat exchanger?
Brazed heat exchanger is an evolution of detachable heat exchanger, the sealing material is changed from rubber pad to copper, and all the plates are combined together by copper solder. Brazed plate heat exchanger is one of the new equipment in the field of heating and cooling. Brazed heat exchanger does not have sealant pad, all the plates are made of high temperature melted and welded copper foil, the plate has a unique herringbone corrugated design, can make the fluid in low flow rate also achieve the effect of turbulence, heat transfer efficiency is high, brazed plate heat exchanger sizing is usually small, mainly used in high temperature and high pressure, rubber pad can not adapt to the working conditions. It also has certain disadvantages, brazed heat exchanger can not be separated to clean, can not be repaired, the price is slightly higher.
How does a brazed heat exchanger work?
The brazed plate heat exchanger is made of many stamped corrugated thin plates at a certain interval, sealed around by gaskets, and overlapped and compressed by the frame and the pressing screw. The four corner holes of the plate and the gasket form the fluid Piping and collecting pipes, at the same time, reasonably separate the cold and hot fluids so that they flow in the flow channels on both sides of each plate, and exchange heat through the plates.
Brazed plate heat exchanger installation
1. The heat exchanger must be installed vertically, and the lower part of all lower connecting pipes should be installed with discharge ports and valves; heat preservation should be as much as possible according to needs; space for maintenance should be reserved.
2. When starting up, make sure that the outlet valves of the fluid on both sides are open. Slowly cool the fluid valve on the side first to allow the cold fluid to circulate, and then slowly open the hot fluid valve. During the operation, try to avoid too much pressure fluctuations. When shutting down, first close the hot fluid inlet valve and then the cold fluid inlet valve, and also operate slowly.
3. When shutting down, make sure to discharge the residual liquid in the channels on both sides (open the discharge port at the bottom of the pipeline), and check whether the inlet valve is tightly closed.
4. Before disassembling the brazed plate heat exchanger, first measure the distance between the two frame clamps and record the clamping size; when disassembling, stand behind the column and remove and hang the plates with both hands to avoid uneven force. The tilt causes deformation, the screws are loosened and clamped diagonally evenly, and the clamping size should be suitable and not too tight; mark special plates and rubber strips to avoid being unable to replace them as they are; when cleaning the plates, the sealing tape should be Wash separately, do not use iron brush and corrosive liquid immersion; the glue strip can not be moved when hanging back to the plate (can be fixed with an appropriate amount of glue, the glue can not be too much and run outside the rubber pad).
How do you clean a brazed heat exchanger?
Brazed heat exchanger is easy to clean and disassemble: heat exchanger clamps the clamping plate by clamping bolts, so it is easy to disassemble and install, and can be opened and cleaned at any time. At the same time, due to the smooth surface of the plate, the degree of turbulence is high and it is not easy to scale.
As a high efficiency and energy-saving product, brazed heat exchanger has been widely used in mining, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry, machinery, electric power, medicine, food, textile, paper, shipping, marine development, and other industrial fields.
