Rick Campanelli, host of The Food Network’s Incredible Food Race, talks about the benefits of cooking together as a family. Rick shares his personal experiences getting his whole family involved in the kitchen.
About Rick
Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Rick Campanelli is one of Canada’s most recognizable TV personalities. After winning the MuchMusic Temp contest in 1994, Rick spent the next decade interviewing everyone from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Foo Fighters to N’SYNC and Beyoncé. In 2005, Rick left MuchMusic to help launch the entertainment giant, Entertainment Tonight Canada where he is currently co-host. Whether he’s on the red carpet at TIFF or in a one-on-one interview with an A-list celebrity, Rick’s easy going nature and charm has made him a favourite of Hollywood’s biggest stars and viewers alike.
With a last name like Campanelli, it’s no surprise that Rick’s favourite travel and culinary destination is Italy! From the opulent wines of Montepulciano to the fire oven pizza alla napolentana, Rick could spend his days eating and drinking his way through the country’s famous cobblestone streets.
When he’s not in Italy or filming in the Entertainment Tonight Canada studio, Rick enjoys spending time with his wife Angie and sons Noah, age 10 and Jack, age 1.
