What is Power?
“A dance of responsibilities.”
This word evokes its own enticing vibes. It fuels our being. What definition comes to your mind? Well, the dictionary says it is the ability to influence others.
It is super challenging to define all its aspects in words, and therefore, the idea behind this content is just to see the facades which are overlooked.
Power is what a lion holds over its prey. #Conventional
Power is what a father has over its family. #Intuitive
Power is what a king has over its people. #Enforced
Power is what superman has. #Personified
Power is what a captain has over its team. #Earned
Power is what our soul has over our body. #Spiritual
But how does it change our attitude? Or does it? Well, it simply liberates us. When we feel powerful and authoritative, we don’t give a darn about society or what others might think, we do what WE feel right (this is again perception).
Power has no reasoning, no feelings, it is absolute.
Most of us relate it with manipulations, deceptions, fear, domination but it entirely depends on the person who manifests it.
It is not always who sits on the top of the hierarchy. We experience its manifestation in our daily social interactions-influencing the other person with your perception-this is every moment.
Power is a paradox that can be unraveled only by the person summoning it. Empathy and good intentions justify its existence whereas dominance and suppression derogate its virtue. It is something within us, people who connect to their inner power and resonate it, are people who can bring a wave of positive changes.
