What is Charts?

A Chart, also known as a graph or diagram, is a visual representation of data. It uses symbols such as bars, lines, slices, and points to make data easier to understand and identify patterns, trends, and relationships. Charts are essential tools for data analysis, communication, and decision-making as they present information in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.

There are numerous types of charts, each suited for different kinds of data and purposes. Here are some common types:

  1. Bar Charts
  2. Line Charts
  3. Pie Charts
  4. Histogram
  5. Scatter Plots
  6. Area Charts
  7. Bubble Charts
  8. Funnel Charts
  9. Tree Maps
  10. Combination Charts

The choice of chart type depends on the data you want to present and the insights you want to highlight. Effective charts are clear, accurate, and tailored to the audience for better understanding and interpretation.
