VSO Leadership Spotlight: Thomas Walters

Thom has worked in the IT field for twenty-five years and during these years has had the ability to work through a variety of different roles. He started working as a Unix Administrator, and continued his career in roles such as Capacity Planner & Performance Manager, Storage Administrator, Architect and Development Lead.

Thom joined VSO in 2018. He had previously worked with members of VSO’s Executive Team and said, “I was more than enthusiastic to join the team when they told me they were starting VSO. It was exciting to get the chance to work with some of my favorite people again.”

Thom is a Senior Architect and leads VSO’s DevOps team. He functions as a trusted advisor, collaborator, and leader ensuring the development and maintenance of well architected cloud solutions for our customers and driving automation and innovation for VSO internally. When not busy with work, he enjoys learning new skills not only in the technology field, but also in crafts such as woodworking. Additionally, he likes cooking, golf, and tennis.
