Video Tip: Open with a WOW
If you're using video to share your message, be sure the BEGINNING of the video is captivating. Example: This is a video tour, but rather than starting with "This is a tour..." I asked the employee to state what he likes best about CAP, and then state "I'm going to take you on a tour." The result is the viewer immediately gets the REAL message about what CAP is all about.
"Wow" moments are defined as the scenes of a video that makes the viewer say "Wow " (obviously) but there are other variations too. If the viewer laughs, feels emotional, if it makes the viewer smile, etc. these are the "wows" or peaks of a video. It's challenging, if not impossible, to make every second of your video have the wow effect, but don't get that confused with boring. A well produced video will have peaks and valleys, it will be informative, captivating and it will connect with your target market on an emotional level.
