Deploying servlets requires servlet containers like Apache Tomcat or Jetty. Deployment involves deploying a WAR file containing servlet classes to the servlet container, accessible by URLs with context paths. Handling form data involves processing form submissions and parsing parameters using HttpServletRequest methods.

Interacting with databases from servlets involves JDBC integration, executing SQL queries, and processing results. Best practices and security considerations include input validation, preventing SQL injection, and using HTTPS for secure data transmission.
