There are Two Requirements to Be An Investor!

Investing is not easy but it is not hard either. But there are two basic requirements. 1. You must think like an investor. 2. You must act like an investor.

The first means if you don't know how a successful investor thinks you need to find out, change your mindset and get out of your old habits. Buying and investing are two different things. You wouldn't buy nearly as much if you thought like an investor before you purchase your items. You wouldn't buy the same things if you thought like an investor before you purchase your items.

The second means you must act but you must act appropriately. Tomorrow begin learning how an investor thinks. Take one step toward acting. Weigh which considerations to purchase are really investments and not just purchases or speculations. Then make your first real investment. An investment does not have to be large but it has to follow the rules of investing. The second becomes easier, the next easier yet and maybe larger. Sooner rather than later your investments are your income source not your job.

Listen carefully when someone wants to tell you about the purchase they want you to make and use the the words "investment" to get you to buy. Measure their words and test to see if what they are saying is really an investment for you or for them.
