A TRIBUTE TO THOSE I ADMIRE MOST

A TRIBUTE TO THOSE I ADMIRE MOST

Every person will have someone in their lives who they admire the most.Back in 2015,when I was in tenth grade, I heard the name Sundar Pichai for the first time. CEO of Google having roots in India, that name just got engraved in my young mind. Two years later he came to India to his Alma mater, IIT Kharagpur. Google telecasted a live interview of Sundar Pichai through You tube. He was narrating his memories and drew loud cheer from the audience.I was fascinated with how beautifully he spoke in that interview. His energy, and knowledge about the audience,is what I liked the most. When the interviewer asked him "whether he has the power to make IIT Kharagpur as Google doodle", instead of saying a straight No, which may disappoint the Audience, he just handled the situation smoothly by explaining why he can't do that.He knew how to encourage his audience to listen to him. While sitting in front of those students, he became one among them, cheerful, telling jokes, he just fitted himself to that age group. And i wish i have the same adaptability as him while communicating with others. After watching that interview i was thinking the whole day , about how will it look if i gave such a speech.

Another person who i admire most about good communication is Dr.K. K Shailaja. She was Kerala's former health minister who got honoured by the UN for her appreciable work during Covid 19 outbreak. Though she was a minister, people in Kerala called her "Teacher amma"", that shows she was too close to people. The way she calmly and politely present things even in tough times always make her close to them.May be she got it from her profession as a teacher. She knew how to Handle every situation carefully through excellent communication. Even if it is some bad news, she will try to say it in a way which will not make people panic. I believe that her way of communication made her one of the most unforgettable ministers.

Some people are just like that, with their words, actions or even with a smile they will just enter our heart and will guide us,even without any personal connections.
