TALKING TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE CAN LESSEN OUR SENSE OF ISOLATION AND PAVE THE WAY FOR OTHERS WHO ARE HURTING TO DO THE SAME!

The passage, ‘Lord, where do I put my hope?’ (Psalms 39:7), reminds that, to survive, and grow through upheavals such as unexpected job losses, the death of loved ones, failed marriages or serious health issues, we must admit how we feel, identify the source of the problem, talk with trusted counsellors and always remain open before God and trust Him enough to acknowledge how we really feel. In other words, pretending things are fine when they are not, only makes it harder to get back up. So let the knowledge that: 1) Discouragement often comes on the heels of a setback or disappointment; 2) When our hope is in God, He replaces discouragement with confidence thereby making what we are going through a pathway to spiritual growth; and 3) Talking to the right people can lessen our sense of isolation and pave the way for others who are hurting to do the same; teach you not to let pride prevent you from opening up to those who will listen empathetically and respond wisely!FG. www.fgtalks.com
