In a world where generative AI can create unlimited synthetic content, we need a way to verify who’s real—and do it at scale.
CAPTCHA is broken. KYC is centralized. Blockchain wallets are pseudonymous. Altman’s bet: biometrics are the only scalable substrate for digital trust.
Technically, this leans on zero-knowledge proofs—a cryptographic method to verify data without revealing the data itself. Elegant, yes. But assumptions around computation and custody remain fragile.
