For our client, an international biopharmaceutical company, we are searching for a Statistical Scientist:

Job description
- A Statistical Scientist provides statistical and strategic support to clinical study teams across all phases in drug development as well as supporting the line function. This includes efficient collaboration with CROs as well as supporting Product Statistician as needed.
- The Statistical Scientist takes the role as study statistician but may also take other roles as appropriate, e.g. as programmer or a lead role as Product Statistician, in smaller projects as deemed appropriate by line manager and/or Senior Statistical Scientist.
Main responsibilities
- Responsible for the quality and the timely delivery of the statistical analysis plan, the quality of statistical analyses and interpretation of study results.
- Responsible for providing statistical expertise to study teams.
- Responsible for monitoring the work of the CRO in areas of statistics, programming and quality of data.
- Responsible for providing guidance and leadership to CRO statisticians in the assigned studies.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in mathematical statistics, statistics or equivalent.
- 2 years of life-science or similar experience as a statistician.
- Sound knowledge of theoretical and applied statistics.
- Relevant experience in using SAS.

- Written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to communicate statistical information to non-statisticians.
- Strong ability to collaborate and contribute in global cross-functional teams.
- Good writing and oral communication in English.
