You've heard it right. Recently, Google decided to "upgrade" their Generative AI and rename it as Gemini.
But that's not all.
Microsoft Bing has also rebranded their Generative AI from Bing to Co-pilot.
Sounds cool, eh?
To top it up, LinkedIn has also introduced new features in helping creators to write daily posts. You can now rewrite your post using AI before you publish it.
The current features, however, is only limited to LinkedIn Premium users.
So, what does this mean?
The winds of change is coming very soon.
AI is your new Assistant!
As much as I hate to say it, AI is going to be your new Assistant. You will no longer need the expertise of "outdated" people in your company anymore.
Up to half of the jobs worldwide will have AI to automate their tasks, thus reducing workload for many skilled and unskilled workforce.
Take for example, Amazon Alexa and iPhone Siri.
You'll just need to use your voice to communicate with Alexa or Siri to get things done.
Me: "Hey Siri, can you help me to book a seat at the speed dating event in Damansara?"
Alexa: "Unfortunately, there's no seat for ugly people tonight who called me Siri."
Voice + Type Generative Chat Combined

Take it or leave it. I already foresee that Voice + Type Generative AI will be combined in development stages, especially in multi language too.
This could mean that instead of typing in Generative Chat, you could just say, "Hi Gemini, can you design a picture of a dog sitting in front of Petronas Twin Tower that has a water fountain running beside the dog?"
And then, Google Gemini might just generate a picture for you.
What's Next For Digital Marketers?
According to Search Engine Land, in March, Google will roll out even more substantial updates to improve the relevancy of their search engine.
This means that you will need to up your SEO game and as well as your Google Ads skills to help improve your clients ranking.
Previously, if your client has a high impression share for their ads, they might see it reduced a lot for the upcoming months. This will reduce the number of impressions, which will lead to a reduction in clicks and conversions.
On a hindsight, the winds of change is coming. Even Meta is preparing to launch a better version of their Generative AI, llama soon.
For those who are in their comfort zone right now, you might need to relearn a whole lot of things again.
So, buckle up, sacrifice your sleep and learn again.
The Future of Advertising
There's a big possibility that advertising on Google or Meta will be a bit more expensive in the future.
Advertisers will need to bid more on high searched keywords, thus increasing the spending to keep their relevancy high.
Hence, this is why your SEO skills will be even more important in the near future.

For instance, if you are able to increase the basic search rate for raw shoot such as Petronas Twin Towers, you will be able to generate fairer income concerning the dedication from fellow raw picture contributor. Increase business performance for the first line before the integration of co-pilot category. There is a reason why Google would like to name their AI as Gemini - their motive underneath equality and business opportunity for all.
