Scale a Visual using Groups in Power BI Desktop

Scale a Visual using Groups in Power BI Desktop

For a while now I have struggled how to use the feature Focus Mode within Power BI Desktop. The challenge for me has been when I bring a visual in to Focus Mode, I loose all the other filters / slicers on the report page. Introducing the concept of scaling a visual. For this tutorial I've re-imagined Focus Mode and build a Scaling UI element for visuals. The tutorial below illustrates how to build this UI interaction using the Grouping feature in Power BI Desktop.

In this tutorial we walk through how to take a collection of visuals. Then group all the visuals. Finally, control the group of visuals by hiding or showing them with bookmarks. Enjoy this quick tutorial, thanks for watching!
