RPA is not Hyperautomation
#RPA is not #Hyperautomation and it's just a small part of it.
Shocked? Let's understand.
Automation has been around for a decade now and it's continuously evolving. The idea of integrated automation was always around but Gartner has given it a face and name, #HYPERAUTOMATION.
Before #RPAEra, #WorkflowAutomation, #JodScheduling and #orchestration in #ITProcesses was on the rise.
RPA talks about automating the mundane rule-based tasks which are the parts of the bigger workflow. If these tasks are voluminous in nature, automating it with RPA creates immense value to the organization in the form of turnaround time, cost and efficiency of the overall process. Similar benefits can also be added in the #ITprocesses with automation.
The most crucial role of automation is integrating incompatible systems using #UIAutomation. #DataScrapping and #RPABots executing the actions mimicking the human actions have brought the surge in adoption of automation.
When a decision making power is added to the RPA with #ArtificialIntelligence, it becomes #IntelligentAutomation. This not only helps in automating tasks but also take decisions or provide information on the basis of the information fed to the system. #IA also brings in #ML and #NLP which adds constantly learning and evolving intelligence to the system. With #MachineLearning, automation system learns from every interaction and
Every modern organization is a connected organization. When an integration ability with the help of #APIs, #Adaptors, #UIAutomation is added to the automation tool, it is a true enterprise integrated intelligent automation solution or Hyperautomation tools.
There are 100s of #AutomationTools in the market and many of them claim to be the Hyperautomation tools. But unfortunately, most of these tools provide only limited automation capability.
