SoftBank to Launch Robot Sales in U.S. Stores Within a Year
Pepper, developed by Softbank Corp, was initially expected to launch in Japan. However, it has now been announced that Pepper will also be available in the USA within the same timeframe and will be sold at Sprint stores.
With the introduction of these two robots, we now have two potential social robots designed to engage users positively. Jibo is intended to remain stationary on a table or desk, while Pepper is designed to move around and interact with users in various settings, such as airports and banks.
